 United Methodist Camping Information
The Upper New York Conference stretches from the Adirondacks west to the edges of two Great Lakes, north to the St. Lawrence Seaway, and south to the state border with Pennsylvania. The conference owns and operates six Christian camp and retreat centers, each serving a diverse population, whether rural, urban, or suburban. Each facility offers opportunities to connect with God's creation, with a loving, Christian community, and with friends - new and old.
Located on the shores of Silver Lake in Western New York, Camp Asbury offers Christian camping programs as well as facilities for retreats. During the summer, a variety of camping programs for children, youth and young adults are offered. Facilities are available for use by United Methodist and non-United Methodist retreats.
Camp Findley is a camp, as well as a conference and retreat center located on 140 acres in beautiful Findley Lake, NY, in the southwest corner of the state. From mid-June until mid-August, we operate a Christian camp for youth from ages 6 to 18. Our facility is open to churches, educational groups, and other nonprofit organizations.
