The Northeastern Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church (NEJ) covers the 10 episcopal areas (13 annual conferences) located in the area from Maine south to West Virginia. Western New York Annual Conference

The mission of the Western New York Annual Conference is to recruit, resource, refresh, and release spiritual leaders of excellence through connectional relationships, resulting in growth and service in the world in the name of Jesus Christ. The Conference is  comprised of 259 churches in four districts with a membership in 2004 of 58,398 people.
