Asbury, Christ, Trinity and Williamsville United Methodist Churches continue to work in
collaboration. As we do, representatives from each of the four churches have been
meeting to brainstorm and dream life together with this common purpose:

The United Methodist churches of Amherst are creating a collaborative faith community that helps people grow as disciples of Jesus Christ and live out God’s love in the world. Rooted in United Methodist tradition and shaped by the unique strengths of our congregations, we work together to create a welcoming Christian community where people feel at home, are valued, and encouraged. We strive to create a place where worship inspires, relationships matter, and faith can grow. And where, by working together, we can make a greater difference through compassion, justice, and outreach in a changing world.

The strategic planning team has met with a variety of voices in various areas of ministry. They have reconvened as a team on June 4th to compile all of their findings and generate a report.
