WUMC would like to keep everyone up to date regarding the Amherst Church collaborations. The following was presented by Bethany Fabian, as one of the representatives of the collaboration team for WUMC, at this past Sunday's service.

"On behalf of the members of the 4 church collaboration committee, we want to thank you all for your participation in the focus groups and visioning sessions and for your prayers as we walk this journey together.  

"At our most recent meeting, Asbury and Trinity announced their plans to pursue an informal partnership with each other.

"At the same meeting, representatives from Christ and Williamsville expressed an interest in continuing to move forward together.  So, we will continue to meet with members of Christ’s team to figure out just what exactly this looks like, but we can tell you that the people we have been working with are amazing people who have a desire to be in mission and ministry with us and we are looking forward to continuing to work with them.

"The 4 Amherst area churches will continue to collaborate in informal ways through seasonal worship, missions, and in other ways, like this past weekend's picnic.  

"We will continue to update you all as we have things to report, and we appreciate your continued prayers as we walk with Christ UMC into a new vision of a future together."
