Grace and Peace to all of you!

 

As we continue in conversation and collaboration with the Amherst United Methodist Churches, the next phase and round of focus groups will meet via ZOOM. These meetings will be held on Feb 5, 10, and 12 at 7pm.

 

Thank you to those who have offered to be a part of the process. In Phase two, a small group of nine people from each church will join the conversation. Their sole purpose will be to create a vision statement or purpose for collaboration.

 

After the vision/purpose statement is created, others from the list that folks signed up on (via email/at Oakgrove landing) will be asked to weigh in editing/brainstorming. Phase 3 will also be a discussion on ways in which we can live out the vision statement in the community of Amherst.

 

Please pray for the nine representatives from Williamsville UMC and the entire team of people from all 4 churches.

Additionally, these folks have/are serving on the leadership team: Dave Reichard is the church lay leader, Sheila Ransbottom was the former chair of the leadership team, Doug Young is the current chair, and Jim Steimer serves on the leadership team as the finance rep.
